Banana/chocolate bread

This is a sourdough version of the classic banana bread - which is actually more of a cake and there is no apparent reason why they call it a bread and not a cake - ok maybe it’s a bit more dense and less sweet but it’s definitely a cake to me, though I can’t come round to saying banana cake! 

It’s wonderful whatever you call it! It’s full of flavor and  moisture from the fresh mashed bananas. The sourdough does not bring any sour flavor but on the contrary it balances the sweetness in the loaf.

ingredients - bananas, dark chocolate, walnuts, flour, veg. oil, eggs, brown/white sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla & sourdough
