Apple sourdough cake

This is a warm spiced coffee/tea cake. The apples are shredded in the cake batter so they disappear in the soft moist crumb. 
A cozy, not overly sweet cake. Used my homemade apple sauce, dried apple skins, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves for the natural sweetness and warmth touch. Topped with a walnut crumble for the extra mile in texture and flavor.
